Capitulo 3, Semana 27

Familia!
We have had a great week - I love training! Not because I know what I'm doing (shoot, I have no clue!) but it is SO fun to have a greenie! Sister Dana and I get along sooo well - we probably spend more time laughing than the white handbook permits...;) She is so full of faith and fire and it's doing good things for the work and me. It is so refreshing to have someone that wants to be exactly obedient, work hard, try our faith, and then watch the miracles happen. A lot of the time I feel like she's training me...I love her so much already - i got myself a good baby:)
The work is still going forward, but like always there have been some bumps in the road. Please pray for Hermana Barajas. Their baptismal date was for this weekend but we found some kinks that we want to work out before they take that step. She needs to really strengthen her testimony of the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, and Thomas S. Monson. It's hard because the kids are all SO ready and excited but we know it will be better to wait and help their mom so they can take the plunge juntos. I know they'll get there though and I can't wait for that special day:)
For the last little while we have needed some investigators to teach during the day and so on Saturday we had a goal to find 4 new investigators. Hermana Dana and I took it to the Lord and told him of our desires and our goals. Then we headed off to Columbus and had miracles happen. EVERY door we knocked on, someone was home (super unusual on a Saturday in Columbus because usually everyone is in Mexico) and everyone we talked to wanted us to come back to teach more. At the end of the day, we counted up our numbers and saw that we had found 4 new investigators. The Lord is merciful and is watching over us!
I feel like this transfer is going to be a growing transfer for me - it already has been! I'm learning a lot about obedience and becoming more of a Preach My Gospel missionary. And because Sister Dana doesn't speak Spanish super well, we're working a lot together and it's strengthening MY spanish. I have so many examples in lessons where I know the Lord is just using my mouth but it's really Him speaking. I say things sometimes that I don't even know what they mean but it ends up being exactly what our investigator needed to hear...it blows my mind.
I love you all! Mom, I'll email you next week about some things you could send in a package - I'm out of time! Keep sharing the gospel, being an example, and doing the little things - they work miracles. LOVE YOU!

Hermana Stewart
