Capitulo 4, Semana 39

FAMILY!

It has been an awesome week - we found some solid new investigators, got to speak some spanish, and the temps are up to 110! Amo a mi misión! I don't have a lot of time but here are the highlights -

-Maya and her friend Matt came to church on Sunday and LOVED it! Our ward is awesome about bringing people in, there were some great lessons, and i think it helped that we had a linger longer after...haha
-I went on exchanges to a biking area...again! I think we probably biked at least 20 miles and talked to a hundred people - it was amazing! I started sweating at 6:00am when we went to the stake center to play ball and didn't stop sweating until 10:00pm. Love it:)
-Dinner story of the week: our meal was named "Carl's little bit of happiness" and consisted of a roll with four chicken nuggets, spaghetti sauce, and cheese inside. Mom, I have never missed your cooking more in my life!
-We had a ward party at our bishop's house AND a stake cinco de Mayo fiesta on the 17th (don't worry, everyone else was confused too...)) I got to see all my Los Reales people and it made me miss spanish areas even more.
-We got a new investigator this week named Toni and he is such a cholo! He refers to our members as "brother daniel" or "brother david", etc. And always ends his prayers, "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." (We're going to have a lesson about prayer soon:))
-We ate dinner with a mexican lady from Hermana Hardy's last area and I forgot what it's like to eat with mexicans - great conversation, strong spirits, and FULL stomachs. no wonder I've lost 7 lbs since being in YSA. Sister Hardy almost had to roll me out of there...

It sounds like you all had a pretty crazy week too! I can't wait until we can experience all these adventures together!! I miss and love you all SO darn much.

Con Amor,
Hermana Stewart
